Cerise Charlet
Creation has always been my language. From a young age, I have been painting, drawing, doodling, cutting and pasting, piecing together shapes and colors to bring my world to life.
At the age of 24, with a degree in graphic design from London’s Kingston University, I chose to work independently, armed with my pencils and computer screens.
17 years later, enriched by experience, encounters and exciting projects, my style has come into its own. My approach? Listen first, understand deeply. Seek efficiency and elegance in simplicity. Eliminating the superfluous to keep only the essential: emotion.
This emotion has lended itself in my work with my clients: in the world of photography for brands (like Leica Camera, client for 17 years) but also for trade shows, fairs, events and galleries. In the world of fashion, as well, with press relations agencies for prestigious clients (such as Aubade, Calvin Klein, JB Martin…), the French Federation of Women’s Ready-to-Wear, Tranoï and many others…
20+ years of involvement in photography festivals, contemporary art fairs and interior design shows have nurtured my vision and sharpened my eye. Multiple inspirations, an intact passion, at the service of unique creations.
Cerise stands by Charlet Photographies in many adventures, from the Contemporary Photography Night to the International Photography Festival of Pingyao ( CHINA ).
Fully involved in the website Charlet Photographies, in which she also shares the artistic direction.
She loves photography and combines it with graphic design to enhance each artist's universe.
From posters to catalogues, design exhibitions, or even book layouts. Her concern is the artist, bringing forward and supporting the strength and the style of each one and his work.
