Biography

  • Standard profile for a bad student, Grégoire Philipidhis prefers to draw on his knees instead of listening to his teachers. After quitting classes, he becomes an illustrator, an art director, and a photographers for advertising and fashion magazines.
  • He creates Jill Magazine and win some prices with the Artistic Director club  in France and Italy. Since 2002, he focuses on his personnal work, with light painting.
  • This approach helps him sophisticate the hyperrealistic spirit often linked to photography and introduce a manual processing in this mecanical universe.
  • He doesn't create along with a snapshot but with length, motion and absence.
