Han Sungpil Selfportrait

Han Sungpil creates art mainly using photography, moving images, and installations to support and examine a philosophical subject such as environmental issues, originalities, and relationships between reality [real] and representation [fake].He also enjoys understanding diverse cultures and exploring nature further interpreting our everyday world. Sungpil’s sensibility in his work often includes a sense of humor, while including sublime elements of beauty. He received a BFA in photography from Chung-Ang University, Korea and completed the Curating Contemporary Design, a joint MA program offered by Kingston University in London and the Design Museum, London in U.K.


Born in 1972 at Séoul South Korea.
